Can you predict how large a server farm you would need from a number of expected users and page accesses?
I am trying to write a business plan for an internet start-up. With wild optimism I am imagining that my site will have 250,000 subscribers within 3 years. If each of those subscribers visits my site on average 10 times a month (sessions), making approximately 6 page clicks per session, and downloading approximately 100k of data each time - how many computers would need to serve this?
