Is this even a PLAN?

I’m interested in submitting a proposal for a business idea to a friend who heads up this company. Where do I start? What format should it be in?

Any help you can provide is GREATLY appreciated:

1) I know what I want to offer
2) I know how it would benefit them/me
3) I have the resources
4) I need their resources as well
5) I have cost detail

i am writing a business plan for an arts group that have askd me to present them with an example/case study of a successful business plan that has worked for another group. Being an arts group with little know-how of businesses, they also seek that I analyse the case study for them to understand.
